It is a intresting product however as I played around with it before I gave it away as a present, I found a defect on this product.

The stick is made up with 3-5 powerful tiny magnets in the steel tube. As I making all these fancy design with it, and trying to remove the sticks from each other, a few of the meganet came off from the tube, sticking on the other sticks.

I could see that they used some type of glue for the magnet to stay in the tube. Apperently the magnet was too powerful for the glue. I did not sent it back however, I glue it back with super glue specifically for metal.

Overall, it's an intersting and fun product but if you want it for practical use (as a necklace), I recommend the basic version. I find out the hard way that a girl will not spend 5 mins or more in front the mirror trying to design a necklace with that many pieces before they go out. Oh ya, and you have to look in the mirror if you are trying to put it on alone. (Posted on 1/29/11)

I love this necklace! I lusted after it for a year before my boyfriend bought it for me. Some of the designs are sort of difficult to make on your own b/c of the magnetic polarities, but a little help from a friend helps a lot! One word of warning, I lost 4 of the magnetic balls while grocery shopping b/c my necklace stuck to the cart (at least I am assuming this is what happened) and I didn't notice until I was on my way home from the store--so be careful around metal objects! I was pretty upset at first, but luckily he got buckyballs for Christmas so I've stolen some of those and this makes for even more possible designs! Highly recommended, it can go with any outfit, it can be edgy or feminine, but it's always sleek! (Posted on 1/22/11)

My sweetie loved it!! She sat & tweaked how she could make it look, for 20 minutes, before even putting it on!!!! One minor drawback, she thought the lanyard was about 6 inches to short.. Still enjoys it A LOT!!!! (Posted on 6/8/10)
