Po Campo was started by Emily and Maria, two Chicago designers who loved the ease of biking around town but hated not being able to find bike accessories that were fashionable and functional. So they decided to make some themselves.Designing bags was fun in itself, but they realized early on that a core element of their vision was to have their products made locally and in small batches. “City biking is such a community thing. It’s so social. And Chicago is a great city and really defines what we want our products to be: functional and independent. Functional Freedom is what we call it,” says Emily. Po Campo is all about making active transportation attractive.
