Furnish
Founded in 2005, furnish is a Tokyo-based designer unit consisting of Satoshi Yoshikawa, Bungo Komuro and Marie Hontoku . The concept behind Furnish is to take an ordinary item and transform it to something that is not only practical, but fun to use. Furnish is based in Tokyo’s Adachi-ward suburbs and they use traditional local manufacturers in the area for cutting and printing and packaging. All products are individually hand-made and for that, most products are not mass-produced and instead each one is made one step at a time.
