Alberto Mantilla

Alberto Mantilla ALBERTO MANTILLA was born in Bogota Colombia and graduated with a BA in Industrial Design from Javeriana University in 1983.

He worked for the design consultancy Henry Dreyfuss Associates until 1994 when he co-founded Curve ID with Anthony Baxter.Curve ID's clients include the Ford Motor Company, John Deere, Sony Corporation, GRACO, Stanley Tools and Colgate Palmolive.Alberto's work is has been the subject of numerous design articles including TIME Magazine's "Best Designs of the Year" article in 1998 and has won many design awards including two prestigious IDEA awards, ID Magazine's "Design Distinction" award, and a Columbian Lapiz DE Acero award.Alberto co-founded Mint Inc. in 2001, with Anthony Baxter and Scott Henderson.
