Akemi Tanaka
Akemi Tanaka is a Brooklyn-based designer. While getting her master's in industrial design from Pratt Institute, she showed her first furniture piece at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) which went on to be featured on the Oprah Winfrey show and HGTV's Small Space, Big Style. With her design aesthetic rooted in simplicity and utility, she balances function through refined minimal form.
